There are many other man-made greenhouse gases whose emissions need to be monitored and limited wherever possible.

Such gases include numerous other HFCs and non-methane hydrocarbons. Their lifetimes range from a few months to more than 4000 years, with global warming potentials up to 10,000 times that of carbon dioxide.
